IbisVision, which is part of the Deepbridge Life Sciences EIS portfolio, has recently extended their contract with Forth Valley NHS while their platform undergoes a multi-centre 12-month clinical validation in up to 5 sites across Scotland and one site in England in Amblyopia, commencing in April 2023.
Deepbridge have recently concluded an adviser survey that suggests financial advisers utilise the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) investment opportunities more than venture Capital Trusts (VCTs).
When financial advisers were asked whether they tend to use EIS funds or VCTs more often, 11% suggested they only use EIS, compared to only 2% of respondents who us VCTs exclusively.
With a further 31% of respondents suggesting they use both EIS and VCTs equally and a further 26% stating that they use EIS 'predominantly', but do also utilise VCTs when appropriate.
GenoME Diagnostics, an investee company within Deepbridge's Life Sciences SEIS portfolio has recently closed a £1.4 million funding round which will be used to further develop its lead product OvaME, a novel blood test for earlier and more accurate detection of ovarian cancer.
