IbisVision, which is part of the Deepbridge Life Sciences EIS portfolio, has recently extended their contract with Forth Valley NHS while their platform undergoes a multi-centre 12-month clinical validation in up to 5 sites across Scotland and one site in England in Amblyopia, commencing in April 2023. The aim is to prove IbisVision's IBIS-Connect platform can increase patient screening capacity and improve overall patient monitoring efficiency.
Formed in 2014, IbisVision aims to help the optical industry make eye care accessible for everyone and with the ability to be hosted over multiple environments, our software offers the unique opportunity to care for patients remotely.
IbisVision is a reliable vision testing platform that combines clinical experience and disruptive technology to allow optometrists to seamlessly connect with their patients no matter where they are.
Having worked with Forth Valley NHS since 2021 to develop a remote vision screening platform solution that could integrate into wider NHS services and ophthalmic patient pathways, Ibis Vision were pleased to announce the news of the extended contract.
IbisVision's work on this project so far has allowed the company to explore their telemedicine platform and offer clinicians across the Forth Valley health board, the opportunity to gain access to their technology and test it for themselves.
